The Operations Manager oversees the operation of an office(s). The Operations Manager drives improvement in the operations of the office by focusing on safety, quality and expanding the technical capability of their employees.  The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining the profitability of each job, while keeping utilization of each employee as high as possible.



  • Development and oversight of testing procedures and test documentation
  • Review of test documentation to identify any deviations from quality standards.
  • Reviewing new specifications and devising and improving procedures for processes and assisting training staff to use them.
  • Assisting operations managers and technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
  • Standardize and facilitate root cause analysis for human performance and quality events
  • Assisting local operations teams to gain an understanding of the client's needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the operation teams.
  • Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
  • Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
  • Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors.



  • A bachelor's degree in science or business-based programs.
  • Previous experience in electrical testing services
  • Experience in business administration may be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Good technical and IT skills.
