Our Warehouse Associate make sure our products are received, stored and distributed accurately and efficiently.  They are responsible for making sure that all equipment and supplies are prepared for the jobs with care and accuracy.  This is a part-time position that will work up to, but not exceeding 30 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Deliver professional, courteous, friendly, and accurate service

• Use computer for inventory and enter information into inventory management system
• Read work orders to determine items needed to prepare for jobs and prepare them accurately and timely
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence
• Shipping and receiving
• Assemble and prepare equipment for job sites
• Clean and maintain shop and equipment
• Assist and support Substation Techs in the field

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated self-starter with desire to learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to pursue Education and Training in Electrical Technology and Power Distribution

 Additional Requirements: 

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time
• Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs
• To bend, kneel, knee stand and squat up to 30 minutes at a time
• To sit and stand for prolonged periods over 2 hours at a time according to job demands
• To work outside in harsh weather conditions
• To travel up to 15% of the time
• To respond to emergency calls as needed
• To work overtime on an as-needed basis
• To wear personal protective equipment (such as fire-retardant clothing, steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection)
• Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record
• Complete a satisfactory criminal background check
