Job Purpose: IT System Engineers are responsible for both onsite and offsite IT support and consultation for companies within a wide range of industries. The engineer would need to assess customer networks for security, stability, and performance to make necessary recommendations.  Proactively reviews complaints, reoccurring issues, and potential opportunities to ensure prompt and efficient technology solutions for our clients.




  • Day to day network administration for our company and clients
  • Maintaining network infrastructures along with performing any proactive or reactive work on client’s networks
  • Testing and evaluating network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
  • Document client networks from top to bottom via documentation management tools
  • Perform onsite visits for necessary onsite changes or troubleshooting
  • Builds report and maintains strong relationships with clients by continuing with clear communication and prompt follow through
  • Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
  • Point of escalation support tickets from our Central Services and Help Desk Teams
  • Recommending new technologies and hardware and software solutions to clients
  • Participate in on-call support rotation



Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft Certifications and/or any other IT related certifications are a plus.
  • Past MSP Experience is a plus

At least 4 years of experience troubleshooting, researching, and fixing the following systems:

  • Windows Operating Systems, Windows 10/11, Server 2012, 2016, or 2019
  • Advanced understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, and Print Management
  • Advanced PC Troubleshooting (Event log research, comfortable working in registry, root cause analysis, etc.)
  • Strong foundation in configuration and troubleshooting of firewall (Creating Access Rules, Address Objects, NAT/PAT policies, vlans, etc.)
  • Networking knowledge including VLAN, QoS, DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Experience with Hypervisors (VMWare or Hyper-V)
  • Skilled in backup and disaster recovery applications (Unitrends, Veeam, N-Able)
  • Familiar with Anti-Virus solutions, Terminal Services, SQL,
  • Experience with MacOS, iOS and Android OS would be a plus.
  • ConnectWise/Automate knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to follow manuals and/or documentation which may include complicated instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.
  • Must possess excellent multitasking and task prioritization skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
