General Purpose: 

The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes.  This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan and direct the department.  

 

POSITION TITLE: Billing or Revenue Manager

DEPARTMENT: Accounting  

SITE: Lombard, IL      

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $70,000

Responsibilities

  • Daily cash application for customer receipts.
  • Oversee customer billing and collections processes – work directly with local offices on billing and collection efforts.
  • Manage interoffice & intercompany billing.
  • Ensures monthly billing is completed on time and correctly.
  • Import/export of cash; payable costs & client invoices between systems.
  • Manage A/R aging reports and month-end closing of the billing group information.
  • Be a company system expert on proper policy and procedures for invoicing, accounts receivable, deduction management and collections.
  • Document standard billing procedures as deemed necessary.
  • Execute special projects as necessary at the direction of the Operations Controller.

Qualifications

  • Interoffice/Intercompany billing.
  • Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to work well with others.
  • Detail oriented with a Cash/Accounting background.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
