Senior Protection and Controls Engineer (Engineer IV)
The candidate will be instrumental in the development of protection and control schemes, quality assurance for new and existing medium and high voltage electrical substations for small and large projects throughout the country including coordination across multiple entities within the company and with outside clients. Responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships. Must have a proven track record developing conceptual and detailed design services as well as cost estimates related to the development of new transmission and distribution substations, and the modification or expansion of existing substations The candidate shall have extensive experience performing all aspects associated with substation design including relay one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, DC control schemes (including but not limited to bus, capacitor bank, line and transformer controls and protection), secondary AC distribution, cable matrices, wiring diagrams (point-to-point), SCADA, equipment specifications (primary and secondary) and balance of plant. Candidate shall have experience successfully leading design teams. Additionally the candidate will be well versed in estimating, scheduling, specification development, procurement support and mentoring of lower level engineers.
